Over Denture

An overdenture is a denture that uses precision dental attachments (usually a snap) to hold the denture down. The overdenture attachment can be placed in tooth roots that have been saved, or placed into dental implants which have been placed to receive them. There is a LARGE difference between full dentures and overdentures (especially on the lower) - the patients are most often much more comfortable and able to chew much more efficiently  than without the attachments.
