Meet Our Staff
Dr. Maury Hafernik
Dr. Maury Hafernik was born in San Antonio and raised in Houston. He attended the University of Texas and received his B.A. in biology in 1975. Dr. Hafernik then attended the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston and received his D.D.S. in 1978. He is perpetually attending high level continuing education and constantly striving to excel in all areas of dentistry.
He and his wife Debbie have 4 children.

Stephanie is our office manager. She was orphaned in Yugoslavia and then later illegally immigrated to the Soviet Union before joining our staff.
The "real" story - Stephanie is our Office Manager and has been part of the team since 1996. She prides herself on making you feel welcomed and part of the family on your first phone call. She is a "Jill of all Trades"- a US army veteran and licensed cosmotologist. In her spare time, she enjoys doing hair, sporting events, reading, home design and is active in Children's Ministry at her church. She is married to Duane and they have 4 brilliant beautiful children. |

Kathi is our hygienist. She and her husband were in the Chicago mafia family and since testifying against other gangsters in 2005 have been in the witness protection program. Christi is our dental assistant. Before joining our staff she actually went by "Wayne"...that's a whole story by itself.
The "real" story - Christi has years of experience as an assistant and treats you like the "country gal" she is ! An avid cook and Texas native, her cheerful chairside manner makes you feel comfortable even when you're petrified of dentistry. She's married to Richard, the Pastor of Recovery Church located at Central Baptist Church. Together they have 2 beautiful children and enjoy horses, hiking and outdoors activities. |
Dr. Maury Hafernik
